By Emmanuel Oladele - According to reports, Chelsea are chasing £30m-rated Flamengo midfielder Gerson Santos da Silva.
The Blues already secured the service of Ajax Ace Hakim Zyech for £33m and are also close on £54m-rated RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
The midfielder will be a superb addition to the Blues' squad as Chelsea are also seeking to sign Bayern Leverkusen attacking midfielder Kai Havertz.
The 23-year-old Gerson is the most expensive Brazilian to have joined a Brazilian club.
Gerson joined Flamengo from AS Roma for £10.75m in January last year. He also spent the 2018/2019 season with Fiorentina on loan from Roma.
Borussia Dortmund are also in the race to sign the midfielder.
