Super Eagles Unmoved In Latest Fifa Rankings

By Ilekhuoba Taiye - The Super Eagles of Nigeria have conserved their position in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola world rankings for the month of April.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak round the world, international fixtures have been placed on standstill, hindering football actions round the world. Gernot Rohr’s men were due to play Sierra Leone in a back to back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers that could have had a resultant effect on the West African giants ranking.

In the ranking that was Published on FIFA website on Thursday, the three times African Champions retained 31st position in the world while occupying the third spot in Africa.

The Terenga Lions of Senegal retains the apex position in Africa with Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria, and Morocco completing the top 5 respectively.

On the Global Scene, European giants Belgium remains untouchable as they retained their top status in world football.  They are closely followed by France, Brazil, England and Uruguay.
