See Why Barcelona Turn Down Offer to Sign Chelsea's Willian

Willian's representative Kia Joorabchian has approached Barcelona to sign Willian who they have always wanted, but according Sport, a Spanish Outlet, the Catalan Giants have turn down the offer to sign the Chelsea forward, reason being that Barcelona reportedly prefer to sign a younger player than William who is 31, looking for a 3 years deal with huge pay.

Reports earlier in the week suggested that the Brazilian has also discussed a new contract with Chelsea and they are willing to offer him 2 years deal but the 31-year-old is seeking for a 3 years deal which Chelsea policy for offering deal to players above the age of 30 may not permit.

Tottenham or Paris Saint-Germain may be the next destination for the player whose current contract at Chelsea end in the summer. Arsenal are also interested in signing the player as free agent in the summer.
