Chelsea presents an improved deal to complete French centre-forward signing

 Chelsea are offering Olivier Giroud plus £40m to tempt Lyon for centre-forward Moussa Dembele. The French Giants initially rejected a £34m bid for the former Celtic striker last week.

Chelsea have now presented an improved deal which is expected to go a long way in bringing the striker to Stamford Bridge.

The centre-forward is seen as a player who is special on the field of play, according to former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, "he scores goals in different ways, with head, with his feet, left and right. He is quick, he is strong, he can still improve, he is still very young."

Dembele who has scored 10 goals in 18 Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon so far is also wanted by Manchester United and Arsenal.
