UCL: Lille 1-2 Chelsea - Osimhen Scores But Chelsea Conquered

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen scored his UEFA Champions League goal of the season as Lille lost their second continental game this season.

Chelsea ran away with a slender 1-2 over the traditional French team on Wednesday with goals in either half to open up a very competitive Group H.

Chelsea had their breakthrough in the 22nd minute when Tammy Abraham who clock 22 put the visitors in front with a  neat finish but free-scoring Nigerian Victor Osimhen responded for Lille ten minutes later heading in a corner kick from close range.

Chelsea grab their second and winner twelve minutes from time through Brazilian, Willian to put themselves back in contention for qualification into the next round.

In the other Group A game, Valencia couldn't consolidate on their great start when they lost 0-3 at home to last season's Semi Finalist Ajax.
