Pre World Cup Friendly: Golden Eaglets Pips South Korea

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria redeemed themselves on Wednesday following a 4-2 victory over South Korea in Brazil.
Nigeria who are seeking a sixth world championship defeated their Asian counterparts in a thrilling exhibition match ahead of the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Future Eagles goal-machine Divine Nwachukwu headed Nigeria into lead in the 6th minute and the lead only lasted for four minutes as the South Koreans equalize through a penalty converted by Oh Jaehyeok.

Choi Minseo put Korea ahead in the 41st minute but Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC striker Olakunle Olusegun didn't allow the Asians to finish celebration when he put Nigeria back to the contest.

Olakunle Olusegun scored again in the 86th and Charles Etim's curly shot outside the box sailed into the net to make it goal number 4 in added minutes.

Recall that Nigeria lost their opening preparatory match to Sao Paulo by 2-1 on Sunday.

Nigeria will face Hungary, Ecuador and Australia in Group B of the Championship while Korea Republic will compete against Haiti, France and Chile in Group C.
