Free-scoring Osimhen Salvage a Point For Lille

Nigeria whizkid, Victor Osimhen has continued his rich vein of form for Lille after scoring the timely equalizer against Nîmes Olympique at the Stade Pierre Mauroy on Sunday.

The 20-year-old hit the target with ten minutes left on the clock as Lille OSC survive a scare from Nimes to force a 2-2 draw heading to the international break.

Former Chelsea striker, Loic Remy gave the hosts the lead after 12 minutes and Nimes levelled the scoreline just before the interval through Renaud Ripart.

Scorer turned provider when Renaud Ripart set-up Togolese international, Kévin Denkey for his side second in the 71st minute before Victor Osimhen came to the rescue for the home team with a golden touch off a goalmouth scrabble.

Osimhen have scored 10 goals in 15 appearances for club and country this season.
