FIFA U-17 Pre-Friendly: Sao Paulo beats Golden Eaglets

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria suffered narrow defeat in the opening match of their Pre -World Cup friendlies in Brazil.

Sao Paulo who are the one of the most famous teams in South America tested the might of their Youth team against the most successful U-17 team in the world on Monday.

Nigeria boys tutored by Manu Garba conceded in both halves through Danilo Silva in the 18th minute and Enrique Santos in the 85th while the Golden Eaglets could only find the back of the net from the spot through Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC goal -poacher Olakunle Olusegun in the 70th minute.

Nigeria will face Hungary, Ecuador and Australia in Group B of the cadet championship that will commence on October 26.
