TOKYO 2020: Five Star Olympic Eagles Destroy Sudan

Nigeria U-23 male team secure their African U-23 finals ticket in Grand style in Asaba on Tuesday evening.
The Olympic Eagles ended the dreams of their Sudanese counterparts with a resounding 5-0 victory and will be among the teams at AFCON U23 in Egypt.

Imama Amapakabo tutored boys went into the task on the back 0-1 defeat in the first leg few days ago.
Just like they did in the last round against Libya, the AFCON U-23 Champions did the magic again on a favoured Stephen Keshi Stadium with first half goals from Liverpool Loanee, Taiwo Awoniyi and brace from Rio 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Ndifreke Effiong put the team in control over their North African counterparts, while further goals in the second half from Nigeria Professional Football League joint top scorer, Ibrahim Sunusi and 2018 CHAN silver medalist Sunday Faleye complete a 5-1 aggregate victory.
