Europa League: Noah Okafor Wrap Basel Five Star Win Over Krasnodar

Swiss international, Noah Arinzechukwu Okafor made meaningful appearance for FC Basel in the Europa League on Thursday.

The 19-year-old scored the final goal for Fussball Club Basel 1893 in their comprehensive 5-0 victory over Russia's Football Club Krasnodar inside the 38,512 capacity St. Jakob-Park Stadium.

First half brace from Kevin Bua and further second half goals from Luca Zuffi and a mysterious own goal by Tonny Vilhena in the 55th minute ensures a comfortable opening group game victory for the Bebbi.

Okafor, who is no longer eligible to play for Nigeria after making his senior Switzerland national football team debut on the 9th of June 2019 in the 2019 UEFA Nations League third place game against England came into fray as 58th minute substitute for Valentin Stocker, put the icing on the cake with a well taken goal nine minutes from regulation time to complete the deserved dream start for the hosts.
