Chukwueze Watches as Villarreal Outclass Hapless Awaziem's Leganes

Villarreal CF had their first La Liga victory of the fresh 2019/2020 season when they confidently dispatch Leganes by three unreplied goals on Saturday afternoon.

CD Leganes had a day to forget double goals from Spaniard forward, Gerard Moreno Balagueró and an unfortunate own-goal from Leganes left-back Jonathan Silva for a comprehensive victory to the Yellow Submarine.

Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze sat on the bench for 90 minutes for the visitors while compatriot, Chidozie Awaziem was present in midst of a poor defensive performance for the Los Pepineros.

Meanwhile, former Chelsea football club servant, Kenneth Omeruo who asked for permission to be omitted from the Ukraine versus Nigeria engagement was not in the Club Deportivo Leganés match day squad.
