10-Man Southampton held United to a 1-1 draw

Manchester United on Saturday afternoon were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-Man Southampton in the English Premier League.

Daniel James scored in the 10th minute of the first half to United an early lead in the thrilling encounter, thanks to McTominay's beautiful run from the midfield that earned James a superb ball delivery that assisted the goal. The first half of the encounter ended 1-0 in favour of visiting United.

The second half had determined Southampton getting the equaliser via Jannik Vestergaard strike in the 58th minute. The host did well to defend and ensure that no goal was conceded for the remaining game time, though, they were reduced to 10-man in the 73rd minute as Danso picked up a second yellow card following a poor challenge on McTominay, but that does not stopped Hasenhuttl led side from picking one point from the encounter.

After four games, United have recorded just one win, two draw and one defeat so far this season and have dropped to 10th position on the log with 5 points.

At the end of 90 minutes, it Southampton 1-1 Manchester United, so it ended on Saturday afternoon at St. Mary's Stadium.
