UEFA Champions League: Messi superb free kick sealed first leg victory for Barcelona at Camp Nou

Lionel Messi superb free kick sealed a 3-0 victory for Barcelona against Liverpool in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final at Camp Nou on Wednesday night, giving the Spanish Giants an edge over Liverpool with the second leg to be played at Anfield next week.
Luis Suarez scored against his former club after connecting with a superb cross from Jordi Alba before Lionel Messi made it 2-0 after benefiting from Suaraz initial strike that hit the woodwork.
The Argentina captain made it 3-0 for Barcelona, curling home a superb free kick from 30 yards, leaving Liverpool with a uphill task ahead of the second leg tie at Anfield, which will hold by next week.

Liverpool lost Naby Keita to what looks like a groin injury and will be hoping the injury is not a serious one, for him to feature in the return leg at Anfield.

After 90 minutes, it Barcelona 3-0 Liverpool, so it ended at Camp Nou.
