MAO Football Club is set to play Leeds United of Oyo, Magecco FC of Lagos and NYSC Football Team of Ejigbo, as they continue their preparation for the upcoming season. The Osogbo based will play in the Nationwide League Division 2 and the Aiteo Cup.
The President of the club Mr Horlawale Horladosu Mao speaking to the Media after his side victory over Ijesha Golden Warriors said, no cause for alarm as his side is fully ready and prepared ahead of any challenge, especially at the grassroots level.
Mr Horlawale disclosed that the team will be playing three friendly matches after their game against the Ijesha Warriors and the matches will be played in a week just to put the team in shape ahead of the State Challenge Cup which commences soon and other invitational tournaments.

He further said, He's engaging his team with friendly matches, so as to assess the team fitness level, try different ball pattern and strategy that will enhance his team performance in the upcoming season. He finally urged the players to be well prepared and organized as they have little time to finalise their preparation for the new season.
