Omoluabi Giants unveiled their new coach. Coach Samson Unuanel was unveiled by Comrade Biyi Odunlade the immediate past Commissioner for Special Needs, Social Needs and Sports who was representing the State Governor, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola. Also in attendance was Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi Osun State Football Association Chairman.
Comrade Odunlade charged the technical crew to prosecute the upcoming Nigeria National League with the best legs in the the team. He also urged the team to turn the resources made available to them to good result.
Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi who was part of the committe that chose Unuanel stated that the coach was appointed on merit and has promised to give total support to the 54-year-old Samson Unuanel to achieve success with the Osogbo based club.
Unuanel was with Prime FC (today's Osun United) in 2006 and was instrumental to their promotion to NPFL that same year.
"We need everybody's support to move the club to the to the elite league, so I need everybody to move with me in the right and same direction. I came back to this club to make statement and deliver, I will give my best and I pray my best brings the required results," the former Sunshine Stars of Akure coach stated.
