The Flying Eagles of Nigeria on Thursday evening have been drawn in Group A alongside South Africa for the next Total U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Niger Republic.
In recent time, Nigeria have always been drawn with South Africa in the same group, at the just concluded Ghana 2019 Africa Women Cup of Nations Nigeria was in same group with South Africa and also in 2019 AFCON qualifiers, the Flying Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn again with the South Africa U20 male team. South Africa in recent time have shown great improvement and have been giving Nigeria a tough contests at every level.
At the draw that was held yesterday in Cairo, Egypt, Nigeria was drawn in Group A alongside South Africa, host Niger and Burundi.
On the other hand, Ghana has been drawn in Group B alongside Senegal, Mali and Burkina Faso.
The tournament will be held in Niger and the host cities are Niamey and Maradi.
The four Semifinalists will represent Africa in the 2019 U20 FIFA World Cup in Poland.
