Basic Info: Nigeria vs South Africa (AWCON Final)

AWCON defending champion will today Saturday 1st of November defend their title against the Bayana Bayana of South Africa. This will be the second meeting for both teams in the Africa Women Cup of Nations as they were grouped together in Group B, the first meeting ended 0-1 in favour of the South Africans, but the Nigeria side will be going on a revenge mission.

The match kickoff time is 5:00pm West Africa Standard Time (same as Nigeria Time).
The game will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana. The South African side have shown in their previous game that they are now one of the best female soccer team in Africa withe the emergence of Thembi Kgatlana, Mbane, Ramalepe and are very ready to push Nigeria aside.
Nigeria will be banking on the experience of star players like Onome Ebi, Rita Chikwelu, Asisat Oshoala to defend the title they won in Cameroon two years ago. Moreover both teams already qualified for the next FIFA women World Cup in France.
