The Super Falcons of Nigeria will today (Saturday 24th of December) face Equatorial Guinea in their last group game and will hope to proceed to the semi final of Africa Women Cup of Nations.
The match will kickoff by 5:00pm West Africa Standard Time (same as Nigeria Time).
The Falcons lost their first group game by 0-1 to determined Bayana Bayana of South Africa and had a great comeback in their second group game against the She-polopolo of Zambia, thrashing them 4-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Nigeria are second in the group with three points and three points behind South Africa who currently leads the group. Equatorial Guinea may not have much to play for following their heavy loss to Zambia and South Africa, 5-0 and 7-1 respectively.
A win for the Super Falcons of Nigeria will send them to the semi final and could face Cameroon or Mali in the semifinal depending on the outcome of today's group B encounter.
