A 66th minute goal by Man of the Match Thierry Manzi for Rwanda has thrown wide open Group C of the 2018 CHAN as they are now level at the top with Nigeria while Libya are closely behind, but Equatorial Guinea have crashed out of the competition.
Rwanda and Nigeria are now joint leaders of the section with four points, while Libya are third on three points.
The quarter-finalists from this section will now only be determined after the final group games on Tuesday night – Libya battle Rwanda in Tangier at the same time Nigeria take on bottom team Equatorial Guinea in Agadir.
The overall group winners will face the runners-up of Group D, who are currently Angola, while the runners-up of Group C tackle the winners of Group D, who are presently Congo.
