Mikel: Why we struggled in the first half

Super Eagles Captain, John Mikel Obi has stated that his team struggled to cope with a new formation against Argentina.

The China based star lead a comeback for Nigeria as they overturned a two-goal deficit to win 4-2 against a star-studded La Albiceleste in Krasnodar on Tuesday.

"We played a new system today we never played before so we struggled to find our feet in the first half, but at the break the coach spoke to us and we corrected our mistakes which helped us to fight back. Out team is still work in progress."
