UEFA Champions League: Kurzawa Stole the Show in France as PSG Advance into Next Round

Paris Saint-Germain qualified for knockout round in style with an emphatic 5-0 win over Anderlecht on Tuesday night.

Layrin Kurzawa stole the show with a second-half hat trick to seal a five-star performance from Unai Emery's charges.

Marco Veratti and Neymar gave the hosts a two goal lead heading into the halftime break before Kurzawa took over.
Nigeria international, Henry Onyekuru was on the pitch for 79 minutes in the defeat.

The first chance of the game fell to Neymar in the third minute as the Brazilian was denied by Frank Boeckx from close range.

Julian Draxler tried his luck with a long range venomous shot in the 19th minute but Boeckx was equal to the effort.

Marco Verratti broke the deadline as he curled his shot into the far corner after 30 minutes.

Five minutes from time, Ivan Obradovic was gifted a chance to equalise for Anderlecht after Dani Alves’ mistake, but the Serbian dragged his shot narrowly wide.

Neymar doubled the lead after cutting into the box to fire past the goalkeeper in first half stoppage time,2-0.

Shortly after the halftime break, Layvin Kurzawa extended PSG’s lead as the defender tapped in a rebounded free-kick n the 52nd minute.

Kurzawa got his second goal with a diving header from the far past after 72 minutes, 4-0.

Six minutes later Kurzawa completed his hat-trick as he drilled his shot past Boeckx after being set up Angel Di Maria.
5-0 was how the score remained as the Ligue 1 giants booked their spot in the knockout rounds.
