There were reports in South Africa towards the end of last month that, despite Pirates having confirmed the player’s move, it was still in jeopardy because the teams hadn’t agreed on a transfer fee.

"Enyimba was prepared to lodge a complaint with CAF, but Pirates quickly explained the situation to defuse. Talks between the two clubs have now been lined up soon in order to settle on a fee.”
Now, following reports in Nigeria of the move breaking down, the crew contacted Enyimba’s Press Officer, Solace Chukwu, who confirmed that the player is now expected back with his club, he said,
“I’ve spoken to the Sporting Director, and confirmed that the deal failed to go through. Obiozor is expected back in the country this week.”
The 22-year-old has played and scored for the Buccaneers during preseason, however it may be that the club’s fans never get to see him in a competitive game.
Christian will be remembered for his contributions during the 2014 CHAN Tournament in South Africa where his goal sealed the bronze medal for Keshi tutored Super Eagles against Zimbabwe in the third place match.
He also played for Kano Pillars and Enugu Rangers in past years.
