Aubameyang scores 31 to win Bundesliga Golden Boot

Gabon's Pierre-Emerick Aubayemang scored a late goal for Borrussia Dortmund on the last day of the 2016/2017 League season to emerge as the season top scorer with 31 goals.
In the thrilling encounter, Pierre-Emerick scored twice to give Borrussia Dortmund a 4-3 victory over werder Bremen. His first goal came 3 minutes before half time while the second came in the 89th minute to take his goals tally to 31, making him the highest goal scorer for the 2016/2017 Bundesliga season.

The late goal put Aubayemang one goal ahead of Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski will failed to score in Bayern Munich's 4-1 victory over Frieburg.

Borrussia Dortmund ended the season in third position behind Champion Bayern Munich and second-placed RB Leipzig and have also secured a place in next season Champions League Group Stage.

Gabon's Pierre-Emerick Aubayemang is the second African to win the Golden Boot in the Bundesliga after Ghanaian Tony Yeboah who won the Golden Boot in the 1992/1993 and 1993/1994 seasons respectively.
