Mix fortunes for Nigeria Clubs on the Continent

It was case of different strokes for different folks on the Continent for Nigeria clubs on continental duties over the weekend.
The Federation Cup champions F.C Ifeanyi ubah took a 1-0 slim first leg advantage to Egypt which proved to be too little as they lost 1-0 to Al Masry (Aggregate 1-1).
However,FC Ifeanyi Ubah lost 0-3 on penalties and didn't progress to the next stage of the Caf Confederation cup in Ismalia.
It was same case with Wikki tourists of bauchi when the welcome RSLAF on Sunday with the visitors having a comfortable 2-0 victory from the initial leg.
It was however very huge to overcome for Wikki even though they won 1-0 (Aggregate 1-2) but Wikki will not reach the next round.
NPFL champion Rangers and Rivers United but advanced to the next round of Caf Champions league on Sunday.

Enugu Rangers proceed to the next round on away goal rule after playing a goalless draw in Enugu against JS Saoura after the first leg finished 1-1.
Meanwhile,It was carnival of goals for Rivers United in Port Harcourt when the host trashed Malian side Real Bamako 4-0 to compliment the goalless first leg scoreline in Mali.
