Gabriel Jesus Injury a Blessing for Kelechi Iheanacho ?

Following the unfortunate injury to Brazilian and newly acquired attacker Gabriel Jesus,Super Eagles wizkid,Kelechi Iheanacho will have the chance to get back into recognition as backup to Sergio Aguero after falling out of favour in recent weeks.

Manchester City can confirm Gabriel Jesus suffered a fractured metatarsal during the 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Monday night.
The 19-year-old was withdrawn from action after 15 minutes of the game and assessed by the Club’s medical staff.
He will undergo further examinations in the coming days to establish the extent of his layoff.
Jesus has scored three goals in five appearances for City since his move from Palmeiras was rubber-stamped in January and has received widespread praise for the way he has adapted to English football.
We wish Gabriel a speedy recovery and we will keep you updated on his progress via the Club’s official channels in the coming days.
Gabriel Jesus has opted to have surgery on his broken foot instead of physio according to reports.
City have confirmed that he has broken his metatarsal and it is believed that the 19-year-old has two options.
According to The Mirror sources close to the player have indicated that he has opted for surgery.
With physio he was told he could be back in action for City within a month, but with the very high risk of the injury recurring once he started playing again.
Opting for surgery, which is said to be the choice Jesus has gone for, would mean a longer period out but less chance of the 19-year-old suffering a recurrence of the injury going forward.
Should he opt for surgery he could be sidelined for three months which would basically take him to the end of the season, or just in time for a dramatic return in the Champions League final!
Meanwhile, will Iheanacho have an opportunity to be back in the plan of Coach Pep Guardiola.
