Poor Football Officiating By Some Female Referees in Africa

The Women Game is still developing despite it existence for 20 years not only in Africa but also around the globe.
Women are getting involved in the game at all levels which is Good for the progress of the Round leather game.

The Awcon Championship kicked off on Saturday and the controversial match is Kenya versus Ghana on Sunday Evening in Limbe,Cameroon.

The Centre Referee who is said to be a Cameroonian was at her Nollywood best during the match and made many controversial calls in the match to the dissatisfaction of both teams.

Kenya went ahead in the first half and the woman at the centre awarded a penalty for something that happened outside the box of the East Africans to level the game.
It didn't end there as she also penalised Ghana and pointed to the penalty spot before changing her mind minutes later which later made kenya to collapse and lost the match by 3-1coupled with the fact that they are deputant with no Experience.

The Appointment of Referees by Caf in the past involves employing Civil Servants/Physical and Health Education teachers e.t.c in both male and female but 20years is too good for such a bad display at the biggest level of female football in Africa.

Most Countries in Africa don't run a Professional female league which makes the appointments of officials from such countries questionable.
Football is becoming more technical and Caf as a body should be encouraging participating countries with the involvements of top hands and they must also make rules that will force interested countries to start a professional league for things to work.

The input of more money will also help for healthy competitions among participants.
