Daniel Akpeyi to replace injured Ikeme

Following the hip injury to Wolverhampton wanderers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme that ruled him out of the November 12 Clash with Algeria

Super Eagles technical Adviser,Gerhot Rohr have called up Daniel Akpeyi who is based in South Africa as replacement.

The 29 year old Chippa United Stopper was part of the Olympic team that won Bronze medal at Rio 2016 and he was also in-goal when Super Eagles lost 1-0 to Egypt in Afcon Qualifier earlier in the year in Cairo.

Akpeyi best performance in the National team Colours was when he saved a Penalty when Daniel Amokachi led Super Eagles to play a 1-1 draw with Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a friendly match.

Dele Alampasu and Ikechukwu Ezenwa are the other two goalies invited for the tie.
