João Félix gave the visitors the lead in the 17th minute with a precise finish from the edge of the box after good work by Pedro Neto. Norway equalised early in the second half through Erling Haaland, who tapped home in the 51st minute to make it 1-1.
Just three minutes later, Gonçalo Ramos restored Portugal’s advantage. The striker capitalised on a costly error by Norway goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland, who gifted possession outside his area, allowing Ramos to chip the ball into the net.
Portugal, managed by Jorge Jesus and without Cristiano Ronaldo in the starting lineup, held firm in the closing stages despite Norway’s pressure. Diogo Costa made several important saves to protect the lead.
