Shooting Stars Drawn Against CS Sfaxien in CAF Confederation Cup Preliminaries

IBADAN, Nigeria — Shooting Stars Sports Club have been drawn against Tunisian side CS Sfaxien in the first preliminary round of the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup.

The two-legged tie is scheduled as follows:

• First Leg (Home): 4–6 September
• Second Leg (Away): 11–13 September

Shooting Stars will host the first leg in Nigeria before travelling to Tunisia for the return fixture. The winner over two legs will advance to the next stage of the competition.

CS Sfaxien are one of Tunisia’s most established clubs and bring significant continental experience to the encounter. For Shooting Stars, the draw presents both a stern test and an opportunity to progress deeper into Africa’s second-tier club competition.

The 3SC faithful will be hoping their side can produce a strong home performance in the first leg to set up a favourable position ahead of the trip to Sfax. Both matches will be crucial as the Nigerian club begin their Confederation Cup campaign.
