CAIRO, Egypt — South African winger Kgaogelo Sekgota is closing in on a transfer to Egyptian club Petrojet SC.
Sources indicate that the deal for the Limpopo-born attacker is at an advanced stage and is very close to completion.
Sekgota, known for his pace and direct style of play, is set to continue his career in the Egyptian Premier League should the move be finalised. The winger has attracted interest from North African clubs as he looks for a new challenge.
Petrojet are working to strengthen their squad, and the addition of the South African would provide further attacking options. Formalities are expected to be concluded in the near future once the remaining details are settled between the parties.
Further confirmation is awaited as negotiations reach their final stages.
