DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania — Simba SC have completed the signing of midfielder Ismail Mgunda on a two-year contract.
The player arrives as a replacement for Mwalimu and has already been included in the squad list for the trip to face Kagera Sugar.
According to reports, Simba have agreed to pay a transfer fee of 80 million Tanzanian shillings, a signing-on fee of 70 million Tanzanian shillings, and a monthly salary of 6 million Tanzanian shillings.
Mgunda’s arrival strengthens the Msimbazi side’s midfield options as they continue preparations for the new season. The midfielder will now link up with his new teammates and is expected to feature in upcoming fixtures.
The move forms part of Simba’s ongoing efforts to reinforce the squad following recent departures. Further updates on his integration are expected as the club progresses through its pre-season and early campaign schedule.
