Two-time Paralympic champion Folashade Oluwafemiayo, named Team Nigeria captain, leads a strong para contingent alongside Esther Oyema, Riluwan Idris, and others in both para powerlifting and athletics.

This marks Nigeria’s 20th appearance at the Commonwealth Games. The National Sports Commission (NSC) and coaching staff have emphasised unified preparation and a clear focus on podium performances, particularly in athletics, weightlifting, and para sports.
