CASABLANCA, MOROCCO — Nigeria’s Super Falcons debuted their striking new tournament jersey — featuring 10 stars encircling the NFF badge — in style, defeating Tanzania 2-1 in their final pre-2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) friendly on Thursday.
The kit pays homage to Nigeria’s record 10 WAFCON titles, the most by any nation in the competition’s history.

Rasheedat Ajibade opened the scoring in the 15th minute, showcasing her trademark attacking threat. Tanzania fought back with an equaliser in the 79th minute, but substitute Esther Okoronkwo delivered a late winner in the 89th minute to secure victory for the African champions.
