Election Process
The vote took place in two rounds among club members:
- First Round: El-Asri led with 62 votes, ahead of Yassine Saadallah (43) and Anas Korami (27).
- Second Round: El-Asri secured victory in the runoff against Saadallah, winning 72 votes out of 135 cast.
The outgoing board, led by Aït Menna, resigned after the assembly rejected the club’s proposed financial report.
Priorities for the New Leadership
El-Asri assumes control of the Red Castle ahead of the new Botola Pro season. His immediate tasks include:
- Restructuring the club’s finances and addressing outstanding commitments.
- Appointing a permanent technical staff and head coach.
- Finalising squad recruitment for the upcoming campaign.
