According to reports, the highly-rated central midfielder is expected to finalize his switch to the NPFL champions in the coming days. This represents a significant step up for the talented player and a strategic addition for the Enugu-based club.
A Rising Star Heads to the Big Stage
Folarin has impressed with Ikorodu City through his technical ability, vision, energy in the engine room, and box-to-box dynamism. His performances have marked him out as one of the most promising midfield talents in the Nigerian league system. Moving to Rangers International — the historic and current NPFL title holders — gives him the perfect platform to shine on a bigger stage and challenge for major honors.
Rangers, known for their passionate fan base and winning mentality, will see Folarin as a key reinforcement to maintain their dominance in the 2026/27 season. His arrival strengthens an already formidable squad as they prepare to defend their crown and compete in continental competitions.
What This Means for NPFL
This transfer underscores the growing competitiveness of the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL). Top clubs like Rangers are moving quickly to secure the best domestic talents, while rising teams like Ikorodu City continue to serve as important breeding grounds for future stars.
Temitope Folarin’s impending move is one to watch closely. If he adapts quickly to the demands at Rangers, he could become a fan favorite and a vital cog in their midfield.
Congratulations in advance to Temitope Folarin on this big career move!
