With a place in the final and a coveted ticket to continental football at stake, four determined clubs will clash in what promises to be an exciting chapter of Nigeria's oldest domestic cup competition.
El-Kanemi Warriors Face Wikki Tourists in Katsina
Defending champions El-Kanemi Warriors will continue their title defence when they take on Wikki Tourists at the Katsina Township Stadium, with kick-off fixed for 4:00 pm.
The Maiduguri-based side secured their semi-final ticket after edging past Sokoto United with a narrow 1-0 victory in the quarter-finals. Wikki Tourists, meanwhile, needed penalties to overcome Flight FC after a hard-fought 1-1 draw, eventually winning the shootout 4-3.
Both teams have shown remarkable resilience throughout the competition and will be aiming to book a place in the final of the prestigious tournament.
The second semi-final will see Nasarawa United square off against Ikorodu City in Benin City, also kicking off at 4:00 pm.
Nasarawa United advanced after defeating Plateau United 2-1 in the quarter-finals, while Ikorodu City continued their impressive cup run by overcoming Barau FC via a dramatic penalty shootout following a 2-2 draw in regulation time.
The encounter is expected to attract significant attention as both clubs chase a historic appearance in the final. Ikorodu City have emerged as one of the surprise packages of the competition, while Nasarawa United will rely on their experience and determination to navigate a difficult test.
Road to the Final Intensifies
