The Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced new dates for the three postponed Match Day 15 games in Conference A, all involving Lagos-based teams.
The fixtures, which were originally scheduled for late March but placed on hold due to the unavailability of the venue, will now be played at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium (MJS), Lagos, in early April.
New Dates and Kick-off Times:
- Inter Lagos FC vs Heartland FC of Owerri Wednesday, 8 April 2026 — 4:00 PM
- First Bank FC of Lagos vs Solution FC of Awka Thursday, 9 April 2026 — 1:00 PM
- Sporting Lagos vs Rovers FC of Calabar Thursday, 9 April 2026 — 4:00 PM
The NNL has officially notified the States Football Associations and the six clubs involved to ensure full preparation and compliance.
Background
These three Conference A matches were among those postponed earlier in March 2026 due to logistical issues surrounding the availability of the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium (also known as Onikan Stadium). The rescheduling allows the affected teams to continue their campaign in the 2025/26 NNL season without further disruption.
As the league heads toward its climax, with promotion spots to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) still up for grabs in the various conferences, these rescheduled fixtures could prove crucial for teams like Inter Lagos, Sporting Lagos, and Heartland FC, who are battling for strong positioning.
Fans in Lagos are advised to mark their calendars for what promises to be exciting midweek action at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium.
The NNL continues to work towards completing the season smoothly, with the 2025–26 campaign expected to conclude in April 2026.
Stay tuned for further updates on fixtures, results, and the promotion race!
