The Nigerian bowling attack set the tone, with Man of the Match Ridwan Kareem leading the charge with a brilliant spell of 3 for 24. He was ably supported by Emmanuel Udekwe (2/11) and Prosper Useni (1/4), as they dismantled the Malawian batting lineup.

In their chase, Nigeria's batters showcased their brilliance and completed the job in just 11.3 overs. Opener Sulaimon Runsewe anchored the innings with a composed 51 runs off 44 balls, while Salau Selim provided a quickfire 26.
