Great Britain's Daryll Neita has made a strong statement in the opening round of the women's 100m at the Tokyo 2025 World Championships. The British sprinter powered to a commanding victory in her heat, clocking a Season's Best time of 10.94 seconds.
Neita's performance places her among the top contenders heading into the next round of the competition. She convincingly beat a strong field, finishing ahead of TeeTee Terry of the USA, who ran a time of 11.06 seconds. Liberia's Thelma Davies took third place in the heat, finishing with a time of 11.12 seconds.
