Arsenal have completed the signing of Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea for a reported fee of £5 million, marking another notable move in the summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old shot-stopper expressed excitement about the move, stating:
“My feeling joining this club is that we are so close to winning, this is the project I really wanted.”
Kepa becomes the latest addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad, providing depth and experience between the sticks as Arsenal continue to build a title-contending side.
A smart and low-risk signing by Arsenal — but time will tell if Kepa can rediscover his top form at the Emirates.
