Spanish forward Ansu Fati has officially joined AS Monaco on a season-long loan from FC Barcelona, with the deal fully confirmed by both clubs.
The agreement includes Monaco covering a significant portion of Fati's salary, along with a €11 million buy option clause, giving the Ligue 1 side the opportunity to sign the 21-year-old permanently at the end of the loan.
Fati, who will wear the No. 31 shirt at Monaco, becomes the latest addition under the leadership of sporting directors Thiago Scuro and Carlos Avina, as the French club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
After an injury-plagued spell and limited opportunities at Barcelona, this move offers Fati a fresh start and a chance to revive his career in Ligue 1.
