Presidential Presence, State Governors, and Celebrities Set to Grace 2025 President Federation Cup Final in Lagos

The 2025 President Federation Cup Final promises to be a grand spectacle, not just for the football on display, but for the high-profile personalities set to attend. The event, scheduled for Saturday, June 28 at the historic Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, will bring together a powerful mix of political leaders, football stakeholders, and entertainment stars in a celebration of Nigerian football history and culture.

Among the confirmed VIPs are four state governors:

  • Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos)

  • Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara)

  • Governor Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa)

  • Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (rtd.), Sole Administrator of Rivers State

They will be joined by Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President, Mr. Seyi Tinubu, and SSA to the President on Grassroots SportsMr. Anthony Adeyinka Adeboye, along with a host of Nigerian music and movie stars.

Leading the football delegation will be NFF President and WAFU B leader, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, alongside members of the NFF Executive Committee, Management, and the GTI Group, led by Alhaji Abubakar Lawal.
