Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have officially completed the signing of Dutch goalkeeper Mark Flekken from Brentford for a reported fee of €10 million.
Flekken, who has impressed in the Premier League with his composure and shot-stopping abilities, will now provide added depth and experience to Leverkusen’s goalkeeping department as they gear up for a Champions League campaign under Erik ten Hag.
In a swift response, Brentford have lined up Liverpool's Caoimhín Kelleher as Flekken's replacement, with the Irishman set to take over duties between the posts for the Premier League side.
This move marks yet another calculated addition to Leverkusen’s squad as they continue to build a competitive unit for domestic and European challenges ahead.
