Brentford have officially completed the signing of Caoimhín Kelleher from Liverpool in a deal worth £18 million, including add-ons.
The Irish goalkeeper arrives as a direct replacement for Mark Flekken, who recently joined Bayer Leverkusen. Kelleher, 26, had been seeking regular first-team football after serving as understudy to Alisson Becker at Anfield for several seasons.
Highly rated for his composure, distribution, and shot-stopping ability, Kelleher now steps into a key role at Brentford as they strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
This move marks the end of Kelleher’s decade-long journey with Liverpool, where he won multiple trophies and built a reputation as one of the top backup keepers in the league.
