Karsten Warholm underlined his dominance in the men’s 400m hurdles with a blistering run of 47.28 seconds to claim victory and set a World Lead (WL) at the Keqiao Diamond League.
The Norwegian star looked in supreme form as he powered through the final straight, leaving the field trailing in his wake. It’s the fastest time in the world this year and a strong statement ahead of the major championships to come.
Brazil’s Matheus Lima delivered an impressive performance of his own, clocking a new Personal Best (PB) of 48.08 seconds to finish second, while Sweden’s Carl Bengtström rounded out the podium in 48.72 seconds.
Warholm’s form continues to dazzle as he builds momentum toward the heart of the season.
