Mondo Duplantis delivered another pole vault masterclass at the Keqiao Diamond League, clearing a stunning 6.11m to set a Meet Record and secure yet another emphatic victory.
The Swedish star looked in top form as he dominated the field and then pushed the boundaries further by attempting a new World Record height of 6.28m, narrowly missing out but showcasing his relentless ambition.
Greece’s Emmanouil Karalis was also superb, clearing 6.01m to finish second in one of his best-ever performances, while Menno Vloon of the Netherlands took third with 5.82m.
Duplantis’ performance reaffirmed his status as the undisputed king of pole vaulting and a constant threat to his own world records.
