Arteta on Rodrygo Links and Summer Ambitions: “We Have to Add Goals and Win a Major Trophy”

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has addressed growing speculation linking the club with a potential move for Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, though he stopped short of confirming specific targets.

Speaking on the Gunners’ summer plans, Arteta said:

“I won’t name any specific player but we have brought the club into a position that next season, you HAVE to win a major trophy.”

Arteta emphasized that the current status of Arsenal reflects their evolution into one of Europe’s elite clubs:

“Everybody believes that we are an elite team in this country and in Europe. Arsenal is there.”

As the club looks to take the next step, Arteta revealed that reinforcements are essential:
