By Daniel Oriloye - It was another beautiful outing for the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they destroyed Sao Tome and Principe by six goal to nil at the Godswill Akpbaio Stadium in Uyo, yesterday.
The Nigerian side scored 10 against Sao Tome in Morocco in the reverse fixture of the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen who scored 4 goals during the first leg was the hero again as he netted another 3 goals in the encounter.
The Naple-based attacker scored the opening goal in the 14th minute before Ademola Lookman scored the second goal in the 28th minute.
Taiwo Awoniyi scored the 3rd goal immediately after the resumption for the second before Osimhen made it 4-0 from the spot.
Osimhen completed his hat trick before substitute Samuel Chukwueze scored the 6th goal later in the game and handed Nigeria a well-deserved point.
