Former Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr will have an opportunity to visit a familiar terrain when Benin Republic travels to Nigeria for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier with the Super Eagles.
It is no longer news that Nigeria has been drawn in Group C of the African Qualifiers alongside South Africa, Benin Republic, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Lesotho.
Gernot Rohr is the current Coach of the Benin Republic and he will be attempting to qualify the West African neighbours for the 2026 edition of the biggest football competition.
The Franco-German qualified and led Nigeria to the 2018 edition staged in Russia.
2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers will take place over ten matchdays during the next two years:
