New Zealand forward Hannah Wilkinson becomes the first player to score in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in New Zealand/Australia.

The 31-year-old got New Zealand to a brilliant start of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, scoring from Hand's low cross in the 48th minute of the opening game to give New Zealand a 1-0 lead against Norway at the Eden Park on Thursday.

The Melbourne City FC forward has now scored at three world cup finals.
